WinTA Start produces roll call report if fire alarm triggers
Six people had to be evacuated because of a huge blaze which spread through a building site. There were fears the timber-framed flats under construction could collapse as the blaze took hold on the Hampshire premises. The people had to be moved from their homes as the fire threatened to spread as 12 specialist support vehicles and dozens of fire fighters fought to tackle the major incident. Two cranes on site were damaged as the situation took more than 24 hours to control.
Fire safety is an issue totally tackled by WinTA Start, the embryo security and HR system from Time & Attendance system. It can connect to a fire alarm to automatically produce a roll-call report or open the lock if the alarm is triggered – this requires a fire alarm with an external control line. There is a second serial port for PC independent Fire Roll Call printer (printer not supplied) or expansion to an Access Control System. The system includes a T32xx Clocking Station with 1MB on-board memory, and a smart card reader.
