View absence records of an individual or department via time and attendance software

Three teachers’ unions were among those taking industrial action across the UK today (Thursday, June 30). The government said about 40 per cent of state schools in England and Wales have been closed or partially shut. Both the government and the opposition have condemned the strike, although leader of the Labour party Ed Miliband has claimed ministers have mishandled negotiations with the unions. Department for Education data suggests that 11,114 of the 21,500 state schools in England were hit by the walkouts.
