SMEs in the construction sector to receive £100m boost

SMEs in the construction industry are set to receive a £100 million cash injection from the UK government in order to bolster house building and delivery, a recent news report in the local media has been able to reveal.

The Housing Growth Partnership will act as a dedicated initiative that will invest alongside smaller builders in new development.

It will help provide money to support their businesses, helping get workers onto sites and increasing housing supply. It will support residential development projects with a gross development value of between £750,000 and £12 million and will offer investments in the range of £500,000 to £5 million for each project.
