The large European study found that, although stress at work is not good for employee health, that is its likely extent. The British Medical Journal assembled 12 European studies looking at how ‘job strain’ affected rates of cancer in 116, 056 men and women aged 17 to 70 over 12 years. It showed incidents of four of the most common type of cancer were not more common among colleagues with high stress levels.

Easy to use and designed for the working environment, Time & Attendance UK workplace attendance recording and human resources systems take the stress out of clocking in and out. Proximity read style smart cards take the hassle out of entering the workplace as there is no swipe machine to deal with – plus the card does not need to be removed from a purse or wallet. Optional fingerprint biometrics is another feature to ensure no ‘buddy clocking’ occurs.
