Fire roll call software automatically prints off attendance report to maximise workforce safety
Police are advising motorists to avoid an area of Newcastle after it was cleared due to a massive yard fire. A number of explosions were reported coming from the scrap depot in Albion Row, in the Byker area. Employee of nearby Quay Timber, Mark Fawcett, said: “All the scrapyard’s alight. We can see flames about 100ft high. The timber yard next door was in danger of going up. Someone phoned me and said they could see the smoke in Sunderland.”
Time and Attendance UK can provide you with a complete smart card time and attendance clocking system, including a fire roll call facility. This highly secure way of monitoring your employees’ time and attendance clocking data uses smart cards that employees use to clock out and register their presence in the event of a fire or other emergency onsite that needs an evacuation. The fire roll call software automatically prints off from a safe location a report that notes who is onsite to maximise workforce safety.
