Fast and secure workforce data recording helps increase productivity
A leading motor company says the UK double dip recession has helped to prompt workforce cuts. Ford announced it will cut 1,400 UK jobs by 2013 at two of its production plants due to difficult trading conditions in Europe. The firm said that one in four Ford engines will still be produced in the UK. Ford chairman and chief executive in Europe Stephen Odell said: “We, like any other manufacturer, have to reflect the economic and business conditions we’re involved in.”
