Employees can earn bonus payments under time and attendance network
The spectre of travel disruption during the 2012 Olympics has been banished after rail unions have agreed a deal with Network Rail. The agreement secures pay rises and other conditions during next year’s event. About 10,000 workers will get a pay rise of around 10 per cent over two years and some will get extra shift payments during the games. The deal states that both sides agree the "smooth running of the Olympic Games is in the national interest.”
If your company makes regular extra shift payments to staff a Time and Attendance UK attendance recording and payroll system is ideal. The WinTA network deals with all major hours calculation methods plus all major payroll software in its Export to Payroll function. The system allows you to create a series of shift premium rules that enable employees to earn bonus payments under special circumstances. The bonus is calculated either as extra hours or monetary amounts and can be included in the export to payroll.
