Employees automatically clocked out at specified time if no clockings are made
Car firm Honda confirmed its 250 agency staff who were employed in spring 2012 to help produce the new CR-V model will also leave in March. These employees are not part of the wider 800 jobs to be cut announced earlier as the company scales back overall UK production, it said. The giant’s spokesman commented: “It was always part of the plan that these agency jobs would have come to an end in February and March 2013.”
Time and Attendance UK systems have an optional auto-clockout feature which allows it to automatically clock an employee out at a specified time if no clockings are made. Work patterns are a combination of daily rules that are either a repeating pattern of shifts or a list of alternative rules. Here, WinTA will predict the most appropriate shift depending on when an employee starts work. Each type of pattern can be set up to override the normal pattern and use a specific shift on public holidays.
