Dry or worn skin has no effect on biometric scanner reading
Well-known company De La Rue has seen about one-third of its half-yearly profits cancelled out by employees not following best practice on paperwork. The group, which is involved in printing bank notes, still managed pre-tax profits to £69.4 million in the six months to September 25 despite these issues. The firm claimed earlier this year some employees falsified paper specification test certificates for some banknote customers after an investigation into failures at a plant in Overton in Hampshire.
Biometrics can be added to your Time and Attendance UK smart card clocking system to provide irrefutable proof of identity in industries which deal with confidential materials or products. We have a range of dermal fingerprint scanners that read below the surface layer of skin down to the dermal layer where your true fingerprint resides. By actually reading below the skin, the chances of incorrect scannings are eliminated, unlike other biometric reading technologies. Common skin conditions such as dry, aged, or worn skin have no effect on the scanning capabilities of a Time and Attendance UK scanner.
