Define multiple paid or unpaid breaks with clocking monitoring regime
A politician has accused Labour-run Rhondda Cynon Taff (RCT) council of "outrageous right-wing behaviour" when it tried to get staff to accept worse pay under new contracts. Plaid Cymru South Wales Central Assembly Member Leanne Wood said of RCT: "The Tories have taken similar action in England but have not dared to do the same in Wales," adding the Plaid group had battled “this non-negotiable downgrade of workers’ terms and conditions.” The RCT said its aim was to “protect hundreds of local jobs within the council” following cuts to local authorities from UK central government funds.
A Time and Attendance UK clocking monitoring and recording network is ideal for companies or organisations whose staff are paid under unusual arrangements – for example, annual contracts. Overtime is easily monitored with up to four different pay bands in each shift. Bands are selected based on the time and the number of hours worked. You can define multiple paid or unpaid breaks and ask the WinTA Start software to insert breaks if an employee does not clock them.
