The steel will be sent from the Scunthorpe plant to France where it will be rolled into rails which each measure 108 metres long. Head of Tata Steel’s rail sector, Gerard Glas, said: “This is a prestigious project which we are delighted to have secured. We will be supplying… longer rails [which] give passengers a smoother ride and reduce maintenance costs.”

Time and Attendance UK can help multinational businesses reduce their costs with our dedicated time and attendance systems which operate across international boundaries. Working patterns created under the system can include fixed or flexitime rules, annual contracts, night shifts and overtime. Through quickly using a smart card or key fob, employees book time against these jobs to produce a fully costed analysis and break down of time spent on each one. Reports show jobs that are over budget or those approaching their budget limit.
