Clocking WinTA software handles workers paid on annual contract basis
In order to clear a total deficit of £12 million over the financial cycle, Tayside Police is proposing early retirement and voluntary redundancy to more than 600 staff in the hope some will accept. Councillor Ian Mackintosh, Convener of Tayside Joint Police Board, said it was inevitable that staff numbers would have to decrease, but added on the savings: "It is our intention to achieve this with as little pain to individuals and the organisation as possible, and at the same time achieve value for money."
Within hours of a Time and Attendance UK clocking recording and monitoring system being installed it can dramatically improve your HR management with features that provide you with total control over your operation. For example, the WinTA software will insert unpaid breaks if employees do not clock them. It contains special rules to accommodate the formal flexitime contracts worked by many public sector employees. Workers paid on an annual contract basis can be handled by the annualised hours procedures and reports within WinTA.
