140 new jobs set to be created at Telford factory

Denso, an important part supplier for the automotive industry, has announces plans to boost its workforce after securing some very lucrative contracts with BMW and Jaguar Land Rover.

As a news report in the local media points out, the company plans to create 140 jobs at its Telford manufacturing facility, where it will start production of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems for BMW’s range of Minis made in Oxford and a similar systems for a new JLR model.

The 140 new jobs will be created over the next 12 months, but Denso also revealed that it plans to create a further 100 new apprenticeship places under the £1m Employer Ownership Skills scheme.

Plus, it will also help TMP fill 54 current apprenticeship vacancies and develop a programme of up-skilling courses for existing staff.
