The scheme has secured £16.1m in funding from the Department for Transport (DfT) as well as support towards the development costs from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) Convergence Programme.

Peter Marsh, the interim corporate director for environment at Cornwall Council, said: "This is a vital scheme for Cornwall which will help drive forward the regeneration of the Camborne Pool Redruth area and assist economic growth.”

Workforce management is one of the simplest and fastest solutions for improving the level of productivity across an organization, and the various solutions developed by Time and Attendance UK could certainly play a major role in attaining your company’s targeted results. This also applies to the road construction industry, where dedicated solutions have to be employed in order to achieve a superior level of efficiency.

For example, smart card technology allows your employees to quickly clock in and out, with the time and attendance software accurately recording attendances. The proximity read method of the cards and fobs means that they will never wear out, and dust and residue picked up from the working environment presents no risk of clogging the reader.

Furthermore, our all-in-one, Smart Card Time & Attendance recording workstation incorporates such features as job booking, job costing, labour hours analysis and security management.
