A union spokesman said of the furore with the Sheffield-based council: “If we cannot revisit this decision with the council we will consider a legal challenge,” adding: “In any event we are also considering organising a large protest by both private hire and black cab drivers in Sheffield to show our dissatisfaction with this decision.”

The Time and Attendance UK on-line self service module allows employees or contractors to view or change their personal information via an Internet Browser. Access to the self-service module is username and password protected. After a successful login, staff can: view their absence calendar and make holiday requests; add or amend any of their clockings, to be authorised subsequently; and add / annotate reasons why they were absent. Employees can clock IN or OUT for time & attendance and more.
