Biometric scanners match employee fingerprints typically within 1 second
Campaigners held a rally outside a hospital to demonstrate against plans to close wards, which they said could mean a journey of up to 25 miles for emergency treatment. Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust has arranged a meeting as part of a consultation to explain the proposals. Last month the trust – which runs hospitals in Redditch, Kidderminster and Worcester – announced a shake-up of services to save £50 million by 2015. Wayne Bates, a teacher, said: “The concern is that this proposal will become a reality.”
A way to save money at your organisation is clock staff in and out more quickly. Biometrics can be added to your Time and Attendance UK system to provide irrefutable proof of identity. Our scanners read below the surface layer of skin down to the dermal layer where your true fingerprint resides. With biometrics implemented, the employee is prompted to present their fingerprint to the scanner where it is matched to the one on file, typically within 1 second.
