Pay review personnel product includes projected increases and salary expenditure
Members of the union Aslef are striking at a rail firm over the issue of pensions. The union says the decision to reduce pension contributions as of July by both staff and the company is wrong, but East Midlands Trains say it helps staff take home more money in their pay packets. EMT said its pension fund is doing well and current contributions levels are not necessary. The Rail, Maritime and Transport Union will be balloting members over the proposed changes.
