Any workplace manning level shortfalls can trigger a system email

train drivers strikes Aslef walk outs Time and Attendance UK employee recording systems workplace welfare night workers Manning levels absenteeism rostering manpower scheduling labour hours analysis This week hundreds of train drivers have taken part in the first of many strikes organised for this month. Drivers’ union Aslef said the one-day walk outs are over East Midlands Trains’ plans to reduce pension contributions for workers from July. Action is also pencilled in for May 8, 10, 15 and 17. Aslef stated: “East Midlands Trains is proposing to reduce its contributions into the scheme despite the turbulent economic climate which is likely to have reduced the fund’s assets.”

Time and Attendance UK employee attendance recording systems include many workplace welfare features such as when night workers are due a health assessment. Manning levels in the WinTA network are based upon employee skills required during the working week. Any shortfalls to the expected requirement, due to absenteeism for example, can trigger a system email or SMS alerts. A separate module is available for rostering and manpower scheduling. Comprehensive labour hours analysis reports can be generated on demand.
