Clocks linked into company fire alarm system to meet all safety requirements

Four young people were accused of starting a fire which caused more than £1 million damage to an historic West Country home. The quartet did not enter pleas and only spoke to give their names, ages and addresses. More than 50 firefighters tackled the blaze which destroyed the derelict mansion at Sandhill Park on November 22. The four were released on unconditional bail and are due to appear before Taunton Crown Court on April 11.
