Secure way of monitoring absence enables staff to easily make job booking transactions
Workers at construction company Balfour Beatty (BB) have chosen to strike over pay. The union Unite said more than two-thirds of voters backed action. The firm replied: “Only 295 Balfour Beatty staff and operative employees, out of a workforce of 3,063, actually voted in favour of strike action.” Unite said it had promised the courts that it would not call industrial action until after the outcome of a hearing due to be held next Tuesday after another legal challenge from BB.
