Roll call report issued from clocking station in an office evacuation situation

An industrial fire this morning closed off a section of the A40. The road this evening (January 31, 2012) has now reopened as the incident in Shepherds Bush has been brought under control, with no risk of it spreading. Some 75 firefighters from around London tried to extinguish the blaze at the units. Station manager Rod Horton said it was “a challenging and developing incident”, adding: “The fire is affecting a range of industrial buildings on the dairy site.”
