Contactless smart card clocking regime saves time and money at work

Building work has begun on a mechanical biological treatment (MBT) facility designed to sort through waste from black bin-bags and find what can be recycled or recovered. This is the first refuse plant in Wiltshire of its kind and its builder said it would reduce the proportion of waste going to landfill to less than one fifth. Constructers Hills Waste Solutions said: "This is a significant milestone." The plant is expected to be running in a year’s time.
