Time and Attendance software automatically sends report if fire occurs

Fire car factory SwanseaA fire service spokesman said more than 25 factory workers on site were uninjured in a fire at a big car parts plant – and a Time and Attendance UK Fire Roll Call system would keep staff safety paramount in a similar occurrence. The Linamar factory in Swansea suffered an overnight blaze which started in the workshop area, and spread to parts of the plant and the control room. The Environment Agency and a specialist officer equipped to deal with hazardous materials and substances were at the scene.

Using fire roll call software, which is in our integrated Time and Attendance and Access Control systems, it will automatically send a report if a fire or other emergency occurs. Employees simply log themselves on and off site using either a smart card or key fob. If employees have forgotten their cards, they can be checked off manually using the generated reports. The fire roll call software annunciates the emergency whilst simultaneously activating your existing warning system. An evacuation list is then printed at a safe pre-determined remote point.
